Two years ago on this date, two families were united.
Two years ago on this date, two hearts became one.
Two years ago on this date, two vows were exchanged.
Two years ago on this date, these rings bind two lovebirds for eternity.....
The heat is on...
It's just round the corner.

Slight conflicts adding to the heat. Small matter. Will resolved soon.
Need lotsa vitamins to keep me going. Gulp 6 pills in all.
Look up planner. Make a check.
The anniversary coming soon. No plan. Postpone next year.
Tonnes of shit in the office to clear before going on leave. *fans self*
Enjoying every bit of the excitement.
Loving every moment of it.
Looking forward to the fruits of labour.
Wish me luck!
Mothers' Day is just round the corner. I'm having the jitters now. Why you may ask. Because beloved mommy wants something out of extraordinary.
*feels faint*
I presented her with a ring. And what?? Did I hear "Whoaaaa!!!" ? Hang on....hang on. Lemme finish. It's not gold patent ring. Not a diamond ring. Not 916 gold. It's just a costume jewellery ring. The one which is quite the in-thing now. Big with colourful studded diamonds and comes in different shapes and adjustable. Geddit? Yeah...that's the one. She's been hinting, pointing, looking, telling me everytime she spotted someone wearing it.
She's VERY happy but she didnt hug or kiss me. :( I've expected her to but it didnt came. So I hinted and she buat bodoh only. So sad. I gave a hinting look and pretended to look very sad. But she ignored me and keep on looking at her finger. Uwaahhhhh.....
So I left her room.
As I was about to step out, she called me. YES!! *jiggy* I went over, pushed my cheeks nearer to her and closed my eyes. Guess what? I ALMOST got a sLap. Psst! It's not the kinda angry sLap just a loving one. But I managed to shield myself. Tactfully. Mom says she liked the ring a lot BUT she wants something else. HUh?!
She wants something extraordinary. Something different. Something which I've not given her. Lahhhhh.......
What is it she wanted that I've not given? *roll eyes* She hinted. I geddit. Smacks my forehead. Kneel on my knees. Turn to her with a sympathy look. Listed a few things. But all I get is shake head....shake head.
I'm so scared it might not work out the way she wanted it to be.
OH NO!!! I dunno if I'm able to fulfill it......
I've been looking forward to the long weekends cos we're going on an all girls' (my dh included) trip to Bangkok. Unfortunately, the organiser has to back out at the very last minute due to family commitments.
I'm disappointed.
I thought I'd be dead spending 3 days in a row at HOME. Oh man! Tell me how interesting & exciting can that be. Little did I realised, a lil' blog hopping makes my day goes merry-go-round. I bloghopped and was instaneously inspired.
I decided to turn mum's kitchen (simply becos she spent more time there than me) into a disaster. Muahahahahahaha!
Hey! It isnt that bad after all. I managed to keep the cabinet & sink clean and clear. ;-)
I whipped up "Jemput2 Roti" from Kak Zu's blog. I tried to play creative here. :p I added Ramly meat burger cos I couldnt find the prawns in the freezer. I tore the meat into smaller pieces & throw into the mixture with some mixed vegetable cos I couldnt find the chive & green shallots. Mom was the first to try it. Ahakz! Not bad for a 1st try. But mom did comment that it'd taste better with chive & green shallots. Right mom. Next time I'll plant them outside our home so it'd come in handy when needed. :p Oh! More chillies and add a little more salt. Noted.
Then, I tried the "Murtabak Crackers" from suriachannel. It was partial success. Dad says it's too spicy mom says "...kurang garam" dh agreed with mom. Brother says he's a vegetarian. Puikkk! I guess he's just not ready to try my cooking simply becos I hardly cook. My aunt (who happened to drop by) says it's nice but too spicy. God! How like that?? So many comments. Me? I dare not eat what I cook :p Mom says try again.
I wanted to bake cheesecake. Happily took the bus down to Phoon Huat. Happily dumping the 1st two ingredients into the basket. Sadly, I discovered later most of the things I wanted were out of stocks. My spirit was dampened. Stupid salesgirl told me if its not there means not there. Try another day. Cant you just top it up. Now look at the damaged you've done.... my baking spirit gone in a second!!
So for the rest of Sunday, I spent my time lazing on the couch with mum for DVD marathon till night came & says bye bye to the long weekends.
Here I am in the office wishing the holidays were longer.....
