Hello! Currently I'm blogging from my new workstation in the new office. Everything smells good and new except for the cubicle partition, the table, the chair and the cabinet. Uh-huh! No pics of my workstation just yet cos I'm not done with the unpacking.
Oh yeah! Thank you dearest hubby for the lovely gift. Thank you to you-know-who-you-are for the suprised birthday gift. Thank you to you-who-read-the-blog for the gift. Thank you to you-who-sent-me-early-morning-wish and the likes for the smses. Thank you to all of you out there who left birthday wishes in my haloscan.
Auwww....I'm so touched! I dunno who broke the news but hey! it sure does brighten up my last few sullen days in the old office. Many apologies for not tagging back yeah. Will do so as soon as I'm back alive and kicking.....yeah! *jiggy*
Here's a few snapshots of the new office for viewing pleasure.

the office entrance. our ex-office is visible from here...yahoo!

the garden outside our office. hey! there's water view...ouhh!!

view nearby my workstation. the pantry next to the garden.
Pardon the unsightly view though as today is our FIRST day in the office. And guess what? Up to the time I blogged, I've been to the wrong cubicle at least FIVE times before I realised the tables around look unfamiliar!! *smacks forehead* I'm so lost here. Really lost. The whole office looks like a maze. GOD! Whoever is the designer.....I must thanked him a zillion for now I guess most of the people around can hardly locate me. Not withthestanding fact the inconvenience we encountered around the building.
Tap to go up to the office level. Tap to go into the office. Tap to go out office. Tap to go toilet. Tap to go back office and the tapping continues.... The consequences of losing the access card?! Get ready to see your flying FIFTY dollars note just for a silly looking white card!!! And if you forgot to tap your card, you've to be nice to the security officer to reset it. Well, that's not all....I've to remember the door access code number. *faints*
The great thing here, is the RESTROOM! It looks like a hotel's. (I'll snap a shot of it when no one is around yeah. I dun wanna be caught for outraging the modesty of the ladies in there. *chucklez*) Oh yes! The best part is the restroom will be fully utilised by our office staffs only. Heh! So whoever the culprit who left behind soiled ***, urine stains and the list goes on.....we'll know. None other than the cheena staffs lar. I malay cebok pakai air pe.... *LOL*
Ok enough of my blabbering....I gotta go now to continue with the unpacking. Guess how many boxes I have? 10 boxes and I'm done with only 3. Heh! *roll eyes*
It's a busy week.

Busy preparing documentations & presentation slides before the trip.

At the same time, everyone is busy packing for the office shift that the entire place look like a wrecked ship.

Amidst the hectic and chaotic surroundings, these girls were very busy............striking poses for the camera. hur hur hur

.....and she is EXTRA busy & EXTREMELY happy for today will be her last day with the company. *sobs* Goodbye my friend. Thank you for being a great buddy. You'll be greatly missed.

Goodbye sea! In loving memory from April 2002 - 22nd July 2005.
Welcome buildings! We'll see you more from 25th July 2005 onwards.
I am now fever and flu free but cough-NOT-free. *koff koff* My voice has grown huskier. Thanks to all concern taggers for the tips/remedy offered. It works but temporarily. Perhaps I was rather impatient. Tonight, I'll take the BIG step *gulp* to dunk in the glass of tamarind juice prepared by mommy dearest. Been having great difficulty sleeping at night and depriving my poor dh of his sleep. :( I felt really bad about it. And now...he has the symptoms of falling sick. I'm to be blame. Sometimes I accidentally coughed onto his face that jolted him from his sound sleep.....erkk!
Anyway, I encountered a funny incident yesterday during lunch hour. My colleague and I were talking over lunch. We shared a table with two middle-aged women. My colleague was commenting that she had began to take a great liking for my NEW voice. I chuckled. She said my voice sounded almost like one of the guys in the office. I laughed out loud making myself sounded so much like a man. Silly girl!
Then from the corner of my eyes, I caught a glimpse of the woman sitting next to me. She was staring at me. Real hard. She looked at me from top to bottom. I guess she must have thought I'm the new breed of tranvestite. *LOL* Seriously speaking, when I sat down with my food and started talking she'd been giving me the kind of look. Trying to make out if I'm a woman or a he-she.
I kicked my colleague and hinted at her to look at the woman. She nodded and started to smile sheepishly. I began to feel restless. We decided to finish our food quickly and leave. As we were making our move, I turned around and saw the woman staring at my butt! *smacks forehead* So cheekily I said "Bye aunty!" in the most huskiest voice I had and winked.
My colleague laughed when she saw the aunty blushed so badly that she tried to hide her face in the bowl of noodle. I think if the bowl was big enough, she'd have sink her face in it. *LOL*
So now....I need my sweet *ahakz* voice back very badly. Clients who called me even thought I'm covering for the person they're looking for. *chucklez* Let's hope that the tamarind juice work wonders.......
I hate being sick. So does everyone else.
Being sick means I'm confined to my bed. No outdoor activities. As mum says "dun spread the virus around. nak sakit...sakit sorang" :(
I took my medication consistently just so I could go bowling with MrsBeki & the gang. Unfortunately, Mr Fever and Mrs Cough came knocking at the same time. Darn! No way of proving I'm alright.
And so....as the clock tick past eight, I was there lying in bed with a box of tissue and vicks vaporub. I kept wishing for a miracle like dh coming up to me and telling me "get dressed! we're going out to meet them". I tried to look healthy but both mom and dh were too smart to outwit. :( Took my hp and played bowling on it instead. But it isnt the same as rolling the real bowling ball. *sob sob*
Dh kept the "sick bird" occupied with a DVD marathon and a game of scrabble. Sick bird won. Yes! So I decided to sleep early so that I could make it for the birthday party on Sunday.
Alhamdulillah....I felt slightly better the next day. No fever. No flu. Just a husky voice. :-) My spirits were high and I was adamant to leave the house. We arrived slightly later at MK's house which was by then full with guests. Suddenly, I felt sooooo shy. Heh! Terkepot-kepot ako masok dalam rumah tuh. Too shy to even say "Hi!" to some of the familiar faces. The reason is obvious - my husky voice. :p *blushed*
We left after sitting around for about 15-20 mins before making our move to Liza's place. There, we met her handsome baby, Amir Mukhtar. As expected, her dh made fun of my husky voice and I was embarrased. I coo-ed at Amir and the lil baby cried. :( Dia takot ler dengar suara ako.
Felt entertained with the presence of the lil one. Rasa macam dah baik gitu. Short lived happiness. On the way home, I was like coughing my whole lungs out. Had difficulty sleeping. Thought the cough mixture and the flu tab work wonders when they're taken together. Unfortunately - NO! Then I had the great urge to salvage a tub of vanilla ice cream. A remedy from liza's dh. I hope it works.
Right now, as I type this entry out, my whole body is shivering and I've been coughing continuosly. It's been exactly two weeks now. Another trip to the doctor would meant another burnt in the pocket. This will be my 3rd visit to the GP. Finished the medications and the virus is still lurking around.
Go away Flu! Go away Fever! Go away Cough! GO! GO! GO! Leave me alone.
Till then....I'm going down to see the GP downstairs. I hope this is the last visit I'm making. I hate taking the medicines for goodness sake! *puke*
