Friday - The wedding planner is back in action! A brief meet up with the Minah Tunang2 and the Minah Bunga aka syiddz from Hadiys Arte . I was late. She (syidah) was later. Numerous smses were exchanged and when we finally sat down, everything was forgotten. First - to fill the rumbling tummies. After which, syidah surprised us with her creation. It was only a sample but enough to make the Minah Tunang2 grinning away - satisfied. ;-)

Saturday - It was another trip to JB with dearest mom & cousin, J. Mom had 2 more materials to be tailored. Thank GOD! The tailor did not complain when I came for 2 saturdays. My presence means money hokay! *chucklez* Right after that we drop by Kip Mart and then to Giant for grocery shopping. Getting more stuffs hopefully to last till Ramadhan. Kiasu giler siak ako! *LOL* Before we left, we had dinner at mom's fav restaurant - Singgah Selalu. This time the food taste better but all us almost fell asleep on the dining table. We waited for a good 30 mins before the first dish was served. The interval - 15 mins per dish. By then when we had all our order on the table it was past midnight. *shakes head* Half way through the journey I discovered we were being over charged. Too late to turn back then....hmmph!

Sunday - A day well spent I guess. My only precious day at home. But not long after, my concentration was disturbed by the boss's smses. Fedup. I turned to the couch and watched this VCD. Time to relax before a long day at work tomorrow.

A heart wrenching story. Brief summary - a single mom who had difficulty raising her 3 kids after her husband left her for another woman. She had no education and couldnt find a job. To make ends meet, she turned into a prostitute. Her kids caught her while on the job and since then their love and respect for her turn to hatred and revenge. As she grew older her kids abandoned her and she was alone. She roamed the streets and the alleys became her shelter. A kind young man picked her up and brought her home where he nursed her. What happen next? Check it out in stores. Oh yeah! Beli yang original - gerenti puas hati. ;-)

WARNING!! What I'm gonna pen down next may not be amusing. So for those with weak-heart, puke-y appetite and the likes. Please do not attempt to read any further if you do not want to end up being a merlion. *grinz*

I'm very pissed with some of the female staffs here. I wonder why it is so tough to keep the toilets & cubicles clean. Why cant they treat it like their own? I bet their home toilets arent any cleaner.

(OK! Get ready for I'm gonna describe the state of the toilets now)

They did not flush the toilet after use. Taking for granted that everything around is automatic. Even if it's auto flush, it cause no harm to take a second look before leaving? NO! They chose to ignore the fact. They chose to let others see the stains they left behind. Bloody trails on the floor, urine stains on the seat cover, soiled pad in the toilet bowl and the list goes on. *puke*

They see a dirty cubicle they move on to another which is cleaner. Now as this gets on and on, it infuriates me a lot. Cos now they're using the executive cubicle mainly reserved for the mothers' to do pumping, showering and for me to do my "cleansing" and ablution. They're now using that CLEAN cubicle to do their business. SO when I next stepped in....I see the black and long thing floating in the water. *puke* Ako jadi hamba dorang tukang flushed ****** punya olang!

Once I spoke to a fellow colleague who shared the same sentiments. I spoke out aloud my resentments and hinted at them (cos I know who they are). Outer looks so pleasant, very well dressed & groomed, but when it comes to toilet hygiene all are dirty ********. Perhaps they did that at home too. I spotted many unhappy looks but hey c'mon! if you're not the ones you dont have to feel bad right?

Why I dare to say that in front of them? Because once, I spotted one of them leaving the cubicle and I went in to check after she'd left. What I saw will always remind me of their faces. Kalau satu orang takper, 4-5 orang semua macam gitu. Pengotor nak mampos!

I really pity the cleaning staffs. They cleaned the toilet not once not twice but four times a day. Yet these ********* took them for granted. The more often the toilets were cleaned the dirtier it gets. Such a despicable & irresponcible act. I wish I had the authority to downgrade them and made them do the cleaning. Let them have a taste of what those people had to go through day in day out. At certain point I felt like scooping up the "thing" with a spade and threw it on their faces while they were dolling up in front of the mirror. U stinky ********* - take this!! *evil laughter*

On a happier note, I had lunch with nisrina again today. She walked all the way to my office building and we had lunch across the road. Thank you friend! It's nice having your company for lunch once a week. *LOL*

.....and so the tale of the LOST N7260 will end here eversince the presence of the newcomer - N3230 has replaced it.

Last weekends had been a busy affair for me. Not forgetting the fact that I'd to cancel some appointments and rescheduled them on another day. Apologies to those affected. I guess where family affairs are concerned, everything else has to be put on hold.

So a JB trip was it. Main priority - sending a couple of materials to the tailor for the upcoming raya. The appointment was fixed by the tailor herself. Thus, by hook or by crook, we've to oblige, irregardless if it was a last minute decision. Funnily, this had been a tradition for years. We'll shop for materials and then sent it for tailoring about 3-4 months before the festive season ie. Hari Raya Puasa or Hari Raya Haji. And why is it so? Reason is obvious - the tailor has set a cut off deadline for sending the materials for her to work on. Hmmmm.....working as a tailor sounds interesting huh? You are your own boss and people has to listen to your demands if they want their clothes to be ready on time. Maybe I should pick up sewing......that'd take another donkey years to come true. *chucklez* Masak pon lum betol berangan nak menjahit? Confirm my mum will be the first to criticise. Chet!

Next destination was of course - shopping @ Giant, Plentong. What else? For grocery and the likes. It has been a monthly routine. I kinda enjoy shopping there. My dh will pushed the cart and its a Push....Throw....Push....Throw... exercise for us. *grinz* And of course when it comes to payment....I act busy by loading the cart with the bags of groceries. But then again....I'm still a nice wife. I paid him back half the amount lah - buat beli DVD. *giggles* Then we drop by kedai kawin2 recommended by my cousin's future MIL, to get some stuffs. My oh my! So many varieties, wide choices for both the wedding and the home decor. I'll make a comeback for sure.

And what's a JB trip without getting those "round, round" thing right. This time not as many as it's not from our usual supplier so we kinda doubt the quality. Takperlah....jangan jadi tamak nanti rugi. =P

Sunday was a day with the in-laws. Brought over some food items and to mingle around with the parents & siblings-in-law. Looks like I'm not the only one with a new hp afterall. ;-)

Did anyone watch TGIF on Suria last Friday? I almost choked on my food when the presenter, Sharon Ismail, spoke about losing her mobile phone last week and how she felt "handicapped" without it; and how she felt the inconvenience of having to restore numbers back. Heh! I felt the pinch. I was feeling quite sore over the lost and has yet to get over the "grieving". =(

Well....on a happier note, I got myself a new mobile phone last friday too.

The feeling is so-so only; not so much the same when I first got my N7260. Probably because this time I'm forking out from my own pocket. =( No more a gift from dear husband. The guilt feeling is still there. =P So I say a lil' prayer for the new hp - hoping it'll stick with me longer and that I'll be less forgetful.

This time if it...... you know..... *cant say the L word* I'll definitely cry my whole heart out that the well in my eyes went dry. =D

Thus, a new resolution for the new hp --->

It feels a lil' heavy though and looks "busy" on me. But its a matter of getting used to it over time lah. Really not worth to lose them lah! You see...if I *teeett* the access card, I wont be able to go into the office and then on top of that, I've to fork out $50 which is definitely TOO much. And if I *teeettt* the hp, I'll have to fast for a whole year *I think* to punish myself for being careless and watched the 3-digit of flying notes landed in someone else hands! *roll eyes*

I still MISS my dear N7260 and will always do......

I feel GOOD! tettttt....nenenene....tettt...

Since shopping was on the top list in our itinerary, definitely it's a great trip! Never mind if our flight was delayed for a good 25 mins. Both ways. Never mind if I had to endure with the aching legs, burning heart and flaming temper with the immigration officer at Don Muang Airport, Bangkok (will elaborate on it later). Never mind if the hotel is below our expectations. Never mind if I'd to be away from my bantal buchuk. Never mind the depleting bank account. Never mind.....never mind......never mind.

OK! Why am I stuck at the immigration? Well....all because of my name. My name which consists of 32 alphabets (BINTE included). The idiot wasted MY precious 25 mins doing a thorough check on my name. While in a dazed, I'd imagined looking at myself in the mirror and scrutinise every single parts on the face (pimple scar, mole included)that could have sent out this message "BEWARE! I'M A TERRORIST" Wadda heck!

From a very crowded and noisy surroundings, the whole place turned into an empty, ghost town. Leaving me (the pathetic looking tourist) and an idiot looking IO. I was so glad that finally the ordeal was over & I was cleared. Phew! Dh joked that perhaps he was trying to count the number of nose hair I had through the camera. Yeah right!

Smooth ride to the hotel till the next disaster greeted us. Nahh....I rather not elaborate much on it. Buat potong steam ajer. So be it. We're here to enjoy....eat....sleep....shop. Yahooo! But first, we gotta fill our rumbling tummy. Alhamdulillah, it wasnt a difficult task. We spotted a HALAL restaurant within 5 mins of walking.

Eryanta - nope! we couldnt find Maedah restaurant. =(

Throughout our stay there besides shopping we observed the people, their culture and exploring places for Halal eating establishments. Quite an insightful trip though. We kinda admire their road manners as they seemed to have mutual understanding with one another unlike here. Their cabs were colourful too....i so the like! *laffs*

My dh has picked up a very good bargaining skill. I'm impressed. He can passed off as a local there at the first sight. Such a waste he couldnt converse in Thai. Who knows we could have gotten better offer. *chucklez*

An unforgettable incident - I wanted to get drinks from Watsons and told dh to wait outside. He gave me some money in case I ended up getting other junkies. In one hand I was holding 2pcs of 20 baht note and in another many, many coins. Grabbed 2 bots of mineral water which cost 20 baht in total. I looked into my hands and I decided to get rid of the coins. Reason - the coins were heavy and besides I dunno what coins is of what value. Thus, with an innocent look and broken english, I asked if they'd accept my coins. When they nodded, I opened up my palm and there....the whole counter filled with my rolling coins. Heh! So while the 2 nice cashiers chased & picked the coins, I was there beaming with contentment. Pretending to look apologetic. Itu coins eh tulis thai jawi u know....I so lazy to squint and count. Waste time.=P

The day has finally came for us to bid goodbye. We're happy that we made it there finally. We're definitely ecstatic over our purchases. If it's not because of Eryanta's hubby's blog update, I supposed we'll definitely remain hesitant & skeptical on spending our vacation there. Many thank you to you-know-who for feeding and sharing us with info on Bangkok.

Insya-Allah, we'll be back again in December. This time with my family in tow. Yeayyyyy!!! ;-)
