Flying Without Wingzzz....

Morning gag...

Gag 1 : As I exited from the main entrance of the mrt, there's a strong aroma of soya bean lingering in the air. I thought it seems that almost everyone is having the same drink this morning. Perhaps I should get one too. =P I was shocked to see the snaking Q. I decided to join. Noticed the staffs at Jollibean was working at a relaxed pace. Hmmm...lembab betol buat keje I thought to myself. Then I realised many many minutes later that I had joined the WRONG queue. That Q was from the nyonya kueh stall lah. Duh~!!

Anyway I'm glad I got my cup of soya bean this morning. *grinning*

Gag 2 : I was happily walking towards the office building when suddenly I slipped. Luckily, I held onto SOMEONE. Oops! Sorry and thank you sir. You saved me. ;-) I was there standing ala ballet dancer. Legs spread out with the soya bean straw in my mouth and the cup dangling in the plastic bag in the other hand. Nice stunt aliyah. *beaming contentedly*

Hopefully the young and smart looking gentleman doesnt mind me holding onto him for support. Heeeee!

Gag 3 : As I reached the building lobby, I discovered something's missing. I squealed in a frantic search for the missing access card. In my head I saw the flying $50 note. I could get many things for that amount you know. Not gonna spent that on a silly looking card. O Allah, please help me! Then the friendly and helpful security guard walked over. Imagine this - I was seated at a corner near the plants, bag on the floor and I was shaking the whole bag contents. That cup of soya bean is still in my left hand. =P Hilang sudah segala sifat kewanitaan ku pagi ini :( I told the guard I misplaced my card and requested for a temp card whilst I search for mine. The guard looked puzzled. I was agitated. Then he pointed. "Isnt that your card?" I gave him a stare and asked "where?!" He pointed around my neck. Duh~!! I smiled sheepishly and thanked the guard for his help. =P

While in the lift, I kept thinking when did I hang it there and where did I take it out? I'm still trying to recall and have yet to get the answer.

On the day, few hours before the guy's rep arrived, you were in a total wrecked. It was chaotic. Words and tempers flew around. We had to maintain our cool.

The caterer has forgotten the date!! and was VERY late. Totally unacceptable. Words of apologies were no longer a cure then. They were 3+ hours late besides lack of initiative to keep us updated at all time!

By then guests had come and go without eating. Your parents and our family were embarassed by the caterer's careless act. Nothing could made up for that. It costs the family's pride compared to a mere scolding.

The make up artist was late but that was acceptable. At least he'd informed earlier and had sent his assistant to dress you up while he zoomed his way to your place and was in time.

In time to get u ready. In time to take pictures with your family & friends. In time to allow you to heave a sigh of relief.

I'm sorry if I'd disappeared during the bashing moments leaving you alone in that room. But all that was meant to save the day. I wish I was a superwoman with bionic powers.

Syukur Alhamdulillah......despite the chaos, the situation was under control. Much to our relief. I was beaming with pride when you're all set and ready for the event. You were looking oh-so-radiant. Allah sahaja yg tahu gelodak dlm hati mu.

I promise that nothing of these will ever happened again. Insya-Allah. That'll be the first and last time we engaged that caterer. Never for your wedding. That's a promise. *hugs*

Whatever has happened, I hope you enjoy the day keeping with you all the sweet moments forever. I wish you all the best and pray that you'll tie the knot with the man you loved in 2 years time.

Ehh! Raya da nak abes? Asal cepat nah....baru nak sink in the mood. =P

Sorry! I was too busy indulging myself with the raya spread that I was full and bloated to the "brim". =D

Pictures you may ask? Well....I dun snap a lot this year. Was busy eating as mentioned. Savouring all the good food and cookies and chips and drinks and goodies. =P Actually, there were more but....nah! it may bore you.

So as not to disappoint fellow blog hoppers and lurkers, here's some pictures to soothe you. Unfortunately, pictures were taken on 1st and 3rd day raya only. 2nd day, 4th day and the rest were either taken using another camera or I'd forgotten to capture the wonderful moments. Saved in my memory bank for as long I dun encounter a memory lapsed. =P
